We were recommended Ultimate Construction for the Conversion of our integral garage to a utility room. A consultation was arranged and a quotation and payment schedule provided. At every stage of the development we were informed of exactly what would happen and when. The entire team are First Class Craftsmen – builders, plasterers, plumbers, carpenters, electricians, decorators – (there’s a few golfers and anglers in there too) – and all were courteous, good humoured (even in the freezing cold) and professional, working cleanly and tidily and barely disrupting daily life. We would definitely use Ultimate Construction again.

Comprehensive quotation which they kept to with clear billing and communication. All the trades used in our complete kitchen/diner renovation were highly skilled, pleasant to have in the house and took a genuine pride in their work. I have deleted one star because the project overran and there were a couple of cleanliness issues.These were exceptions and we were delighted with the quality of work and the excellent end result. We would not hesitate to use Ultimate again. Overall a class act.

There are lots of horror stories about builders not turning up on time, not completing jobs once started and overcharging etc. but this is certainly NOT the case with Ultimate Construction. Jason always arrived at the time given for appointments, as did the building team, the quotes given for the work were exact and everyone involved was courteous and considerate of the neighbours. Jason, Adam and Rhonda were always contactable and any queries raised were answered almost immediately. The work done, to repair water damage at the property (which involved replacing ceilings and floors, scraping, re plastering and painting walls and a chimney breast, installing new windows and doors, plus electrical work) was completed to a high standard by all concerned. I would like to thank Adam, Jason, Rhoda and their team for taking the worry about such an undertaking off my shoulders – it was a joy to do business with them.

Excellent service and quality of work in all areas. We had new boiler fitted, major electrical work done for our garden room. Plastering, kitchen units fitted. Lighting and ceiling replaced. New flat roof installed and multiple other jobs done. Ultimate had a team for all of these jobs and all were competeld to fantastic standard along with friendly knowledgeable staff.

We are delighted with our extension/renovation. The workmanship was of a high standard. Ultimate’s team were a delight to work with polite, friendly, trustworthy and tidy. Of special mention for their very high standard of work were the carpenter (who had a very difficult job of building the roof structure of the extension and integrating this into the existing roof); the electrician and the plumber. Ultimate quoted for the project prior to being engaged. They adhered to this with two minor additions for issues that were uncovered during the works. These items were discussed and agreed prior to undertaking the work – firstly correcting the alignment of an existing wall and secondly replacing a rotten bathroom floor (found having removed the existing tiles). These came to about £500. There was a further cost for bringing in a specialist company to remove asbestos, found during the works, and our request for extra power sockets, lights and switches.

We contacted Ultimate Construction Limited on the recommendation of two previous clients in 2019. From the first meeting I was impressed with Adam and Garry’s professionalism, knowledge and assistance with design. Our project initially was the renovation of bathrooms which they completed to a very high standard and Garry’s tiling is immaculate. As Ultimate’s branding said at the time, “Our quote is our quote” and this is the case unless when stripping out they find any safety issues. My mistake was to let my wife loose with further works that must have driven Adam and Garry mad when you’re trying to project manage a number of jobs. However they added to the project and completed our additional work to the a very high standard. They have a great team and whether it is a plasterer, electrician or carpenter on site they are all engaging, professional and caring. A great team! We highly recommend Ultimate Construction.

The choice of using Ultimate Construction to undertake the building of our 9 x 4 metre single storey extension was based on their attitude and professional appearance plus recommendations from other people who had used the company. The extension comprises a large multi-functional garden room, shower room and utility area.

Adam runs a team not of builders but of craftsmen in the building construction industry. At all stages of the project the team’s standards were very high .

U.C. worked to a fixed price contract despite rising global prices and some difficulty obtaining supplies. All members of the team were polite, tidy and could not have been more skilled. We are extremely pleased with the results of their work. Friends who have visited us since completion have also been surprised and impressed. We have no hesitation in recommending Ultimate Construction.

We really wanted to say a huge thanks to Adam and the team following completion of the build at our house. The attention to detail was brilliant throughout, and this is very much reflected in the look and feel of the spaces created and updated at the end of the job, which are amazing and have really transformed the house.

We got great support from the team as a whole, and all of the guys that worked at the house were personable, happy to explain what was going to be done on the day and to consult with us about the options available to us on finishes. The team really excel at problem solving and, as material issues were uncovered – which is inevitable with houses approaching 100 years of age – Adam and/or Garry explained what was possible, the options that we had and then set about resolving the issue, but we were consulted before anything was done and given an opportunity to understand pros and cons of different approaches. In this respect you understand that the objective is to get the best outcome for the client, which is an ethos that extends across all of the team

The advantages of working with Ultimate are that you start with a detailed quote, rather than an estimate, that they have all trades under one roof, that all trades are experts and that the work is done by a group of prefectionists, which is reflected in the high standard of the finish.

I write to send a very big thank you to you and your team for a superb job with our renovation project. Having been recommended to us by a number of people you exceeded expectations.
That first meeting with you and Garry laid out the way you work and the professionalism you bring. You were both excellent in assisting us with the design and material choice from day one. As your branding states your, “Quote is your Quote” and unless there’s a structural problem when you strip out there are no additional costs. Obviously I made the mistake of letting the wife loose to add to the work but I must say it looks great now.
You have a great team Adam and I’m sure many customers complement Garry on his meticulous work. We’ve never seen tiling as good as this. Living at home at the same time of the work has never been a difficult experience for the family (our dog was even very happy to have company!) We have recently employed Ultimate Construction to fit our new kitchen. The work involved stripping out the old kitchen and three layers of old floor covering, re plastering the walls and ceiling and fitting a new kitchen.
Due to the upheaval we specifically requested that Ultimate carry out the work whilst we were away for a weeks holiday. True to their word they had completed all the messy work and presented us with a new kitchen almost completed upon our return. An additional day and a bit was required to fit a few worktops and the new floor covering.
The work was completed to a very good standard and Ultimate went beyond just fitting the kitchen, they provided little touches and suggestions to get over a few problems all of which were carried out to an excellent quality.
They were meticulous in their tidiness once we had returned from holiday which allowed us to carry on with minimum disruption to our normal lives.
There was no snagging to speak of and any minor points were dealt with without problem.
We would have no hesitation is recommending Ultimate Construction to anybody for new kitchens, bathrooms or any building works whatsoever.

Dear Adam,I am just writing to say “thank you” to you and all of your team for the first class job that you’ve done on the house. From when you first arrived here, to do the first pieces of work (making the extra storage area in the eaves) until you had finished all of the major works downstairs – removing the chimney breast, converting the two rooms into one and laying the new floor – I, and all of my neighbours and visitors, have been extremely impressed by your professionalism, speed and thoroughness.Something that everyone has remarked on has been the way in which, however dirty the work was (and taking down the chimney breast certainly produced more than its fair amount of dust and dirt!), you all took great care to tidy up at the end of each day.Over the years I’ve used a number of builders and I have to say that “Ultimate” have impressed me the most – by far – in this respect. Building works always cause disruption, but the fact that you have all done your utmost to let the house remain a home as much as was possible was a great benefit. The fact that you have been ready to take on my ideas as the works have progressed, and made them a reality, has made the whole process a lot easier – the end result speaks for itself.

As you know I have recommended you to a number of my neighbours already, and I would have no hesitation in doing so to anyone who asked me for the name of a good, reliable building company.
